  • What is brainwave entrainment?
Brainwave entrainment (BWE) is also known as audio visual entrainment (AVE), and is the term used for the effect an external source of regular beats, flashes, or vibrations has on synchronizing the brain's own frequency to that of the external stimulation. For example, EEG measurements show that our brain operates in bands of brainwave frequencies. Those frequencies are associated with different states of mind and have their own unique signature. By knowing which brainwave frequency produces which effect, the stimulation and synchronization to the external force can then introduce that state of mind to the individual. One example is a frequency called the Theta brainwave state and is typically around 4-8Hz in frequency, which means that every second there is 4-8 pulses of electrical activity across the brain. The Theta state is considered a deeply relaxing meditative state of consciousness, so by purposely entraining the brain to that frequency, the relaxing state can be produced. *for more information about how the roXiva works, visit https://roxiva.com/how-it-works-the-roxiva-rx1-brainwave-entrainment-device/
